VKEIOS: Thank you for taking the time to speak with us – to begin, would you first introduce yourself for our readers?

I am King of Vampire.

VKEIOS: Last month you announced your new “synthetic art” project entitled G.L.A.M.S, please tell us more about this project and its overall concept?

MIKARU: I wanna do many things more freely.
Painting is very interesting.
It is my double and mirror.
I want you to feel my inside.
And G.L.A.M.S will perform music, please wait for it.

VKEIOS: G.L.A.M.S incorporates music, painting and photography – Could your tell us about your history as a visual artist, such as how long have you been practicing these art forms?

MIKARU: No experience. It is for the first time that I bought colors and brushes.
Suddenly I realized that I could draw my images directly, then it happened.

VKEIOS: Are there any artists (non-musical artists) who have inspired you, or that you respect?

MIKARU: No one.
It has nothing to do with art picture though, If Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior didn’t exist, I didn’t work on my body.

VKEIOS: When it comes to art, what are some of your preferred tools of the trade – such as your preferred mediums when painting?

MIKARU: I use acrylic paint.
At first I went the shop of painting materials and bought many colors.
Then I got home,I learned for the first time it is called acrylic paint color.
I didn’t know anything.

VKEIOS: Starting February 14th you’ll hold a seven-day exhibition in Paris – How do you feel as the opening day approaches?

MIKARU: That’s very exciting.I put all of me in each one. They are my children.

VKEIOS: Paris is a wonderful choice for a first exhibition – what other cities would you like to hold exhibitions in?

MIKARU: Well…Germany, USA, London, Finland, Australia, Swiss, Netherlands, Poland, Taiwan… All around the world with concert.

VKEIOS: Each day of your exhibition will have a different title and theme – how much time went into planning this?

MIKARU: Just one day. My idea is always coming for an instant and infinity.

VKEIOS: Without giving too much away, what kind of story do you hope to tell through this exhibition and its daily themes?

MIKARU: Well…It will be other movies in each day.

VKEIOS: For fans that have been following you throughout your musical career, do you feel that there’s something new and unexpected that they will learn about you through this exhibition?

MIKARU: I want them to feel me more deeply.
I will make my fans surprised, attractive, emotional till I die.

VKEIOS: With your exhibition in February, what are your hopes or plans for the rest of 2014?

MIKARU: I want to hold the exhibition again and a concert tour as G.L.A.M.S in 2014.
Now I am creating music, it will be very beautiful one.

VKEIOS: As an artist in many respects, what are things you’d like to experiment with in the future – are there new art forms that you’d like to explore?

MIKARU: Pictures, music, photos, movies…there are the things I wanna do infinity.
I’m always looking for new things.
Nobody can stop me.

VKEIOS: Thank you again for your time – are there any closing comments that you’d like to leave for the readers at Visual KEIOS?

MIKARU: Thank you for interviewing.
Dear readers, I belong to you and you belong to me.
I want you to join the exhibition or concert when I hold it in your country,
With wonderful kiss…and be as one.
When you go to bed at night, beware of my fang…

With Love.
